File Formats

PDF Files: Portable Document Format (.pdf) is for use with Adobe Acrobat Reader. To open and print these files, you need adobe Acrobat Reader which is available free via the internet. Click here to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

EPS Files: Encapsulated Post Script (.eps) files are 300 dpi CMYK files for use in high resolution printing. Format should be compatible with graphic layout programs or Windows or Macintosh platforms. These files may be large and take longer to download than other formats.

TIF Files: Tag Image File(.tif) format is saved in CMYK for use in low resolution printing. Files are saved at 150 dpi to be Windows/IBM compatible, but will sometimes work across platforms.

BMP Files: Bitmap (.bmp) files are black and white files for use with Windows applications.

JPEG Files: Joint photographic Experts Group (.jpg) files listed below are saved at high resolutions in RGB format. JPEG files are small in size for quicke download, very versatile, and can be adapted for a wide range of printing and web uses.

GIF Files: Graphic Interchange Format (.gif) files are highly compressed, low resolution files for use on web pages. GIF files are not acceptable for printing.
